I've been sitting on this for a while, not sure how to introduce her.

Her name is Cassie. She's a character I've been building — not me, but built from everything I've lived. Chronic illness doesn't just change what you can do in a day, it changes how you have to think about the day before you even start it. Budgeting energy before you've had coffee. Choosing which errand actually matters. Knowing a good day and a full day aren't the same thing.

I wanted to build something that shows that honestly — not the after-photo, the whole thing. The plan, the flare-up, the adjustment, and the small win at the end that still counts.

Cassie's world is purple, because that's the color of chronic illness awareness. It's also soft — pink and cream, candles, blankets, tea. Comfort isn't a consolation prize in her life. It's part of how she gets through.

I don't know exactly how big this is going to get. I never do — that's honest, and I'd rather tell you that than promise something I can't keep. What I do know is I'm building it one piece at a time, and I wanted you to be there from the start.

More is coming this week — on Instagram, on Facebook, and eventually on YouTube. I'll keep you posted, the way I always do.

Talk soon,

LeeAnna
